PetZONE360, LLC, and its affiliates (collectively, “PetZONE360”) is committed to safeguarding the personal identifiable information (“Personal Information”) of its users and other visitors to our website, which we use to provide information regarding our comprehensive marketplace and community platform dedicated to pet parents. Such users include members, sellers, partners, and other members of the PetZONE360 community.

The following statement (“Privacy Policy”) sets out the principles governing our use of Personal Information that might obtained when you access our website/platform at petzone360.com (the “Website/Platform”) and/or when you use any associated mobile applications, social networking features, virtual spaces, pet-related services, and marketplaces (collectively, in addition to the Website/Platform, referred to herein as the “Services”).

Collection of Information

When you use the Services, PetZONE360 collects various categories of Personal Information, which will generally include two types of information: information that you provide to us directly, and information that we collect automatically.

Information You Provide Directly

When you use the Services for any purpose (e.g., registration, account setup, profile modification, or purchase/sale of products), we will collect information that you provide to us via the Website and via any agreements you’ve entered into with respect to the Services (e.g., as a member, seller, or partner). This information may include, for example, your first name, last name, residence address, phone number, e-mail address, billing information, such as credit card numbers and related information necessary to complete online transactions.

The information collected by PetZONE360 will vary depending upon context, but will be made clear to you at the time of collection.

For example, when you sign up to receive alerts (e.g., petzone360.com/sign-up-now-pp.html) we will collect your first name, last name, email address, and information regarding how you found PetZONE360. When you take one of our surveys (e.g., petzone360.com/short-survey.html), we will collect your pet parent status, first name, last name, email address, and information you provide regarding desired services. When you sign up for access to the Services (e.g., petzone360.com/members.html), we will collect first name, last name, email, provided phone number, your role or occupation, and complete address if the field(s) are provided.

We may also receive Personal Information from publicly available databases, joint marketing partners and event sponsors, and entities to which we provide client services, such as your employer, and social media platforms.

Importantly, if you choose to share your Personal Information with other users of the Services and/or the PetZONE360 community (e.g., via its social networking functionality), such Personal Information is not contemplated by this Privacy Policy, and PetZONE360 will not be responsible for how such information is shared or used. Similarly, if you are using our Services to sell products and/or are using the PetZONE360 API, you may have privacy responsibilities as a data controller with respect to certain Personal Information you collect independent of PetZONE360. PetZONE360 shall not be responsible for how such information is shared and used.

  

Information We Collect Automatically

We employ cookies on the Website. A cookie is a small, encoded text file sent between a web server and web browser when you visit the Website. That file is stored on the hard drive of the device used to access the internet, and will be accessed when you revisit the website that created the cookie file. With respect to marketing activities, certain information that you provide to us, such as your first name, last name, company name, e-mail address, physical address, and phone number may be aggregated with other such data in one or more contact lists. We may then use these contact lists to send you information regarding our services via an automated mailing system and/or to send you surveys via an automated survey generation system. These contact lists may be integrated into a client relation management (CRM) system and/or an internal e-mail contact lists).

Sharing of Information

We do not sell, exchange, transfer, or give your personal information to any other company or individual except as follows:

We may share, on a limited basis, Personal Information with our service providers, suppliers, subcontractors, and similar third parties so that they can assist us in the maintenance of our Website and other services. Third Party Websites and Links

We may provide links to third-party websites, services, plug-ins, content, and applications that are not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such services, and we cannot take responsibility for the privacy policies, content, or practices of those services and websites.

Data Retention

We store the information we collect about you for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which we collected it, and in accordance with our legal obligations and legitimate business interests.

Sensitive Information

We ask that you not send us, and you not disclose, any sensitive Personal Information (e.g., social security numbers, information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, biometrics, or genetic characteristics, criminal background or trade union membership) when using the Services. To the extent that you share sensitive information with others via PetZONE360™’s social media capabilities, this Privacy Policy does not apply to such information.

Residents of the European Economic Area

If you are located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), you may have certain additional rights and protections under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) regarding the processing of your personal data. In this regard, we may ask you to identify which country you are located in when you use or access the Services, or we may rely on your IP address to make this determination. If any terms in this section conflict with other terms of this Privacy Policy, the terms in this section shall apply to individuals located in the EEA when the Personal Information is collected or processed.
